4-I guide
The mindful will be in a place of safety.
Start with bismillah.
Ask: "What does feeling completely safe feel like?"
Watch the Coram Kidscape video Feeling Happy, Feeling Safe.
Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "Where will the mindful be?"
Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "What will make Jannah feel so safe?" Younger children can draw theirs.
Find it in the mushaf: Surah Ad-Dukhan is surah 44. Find ayah 51. The key words maqamin amin mean a secure place. After the warnings, the surah turns to the mindful, the muttaqin. In Jannah there is no fear, no danger and no worry, ever. Feeling safe is one of Allah's greatest gifts, in this life and the next.
Fact: What does muttaqin mean?
Ages 5–8: Safe map. Draw places where you feel safe and the people who keep you safe.
Ages 9–12: Safety for others. Write three ways you can help others feel safe.
Finish with: "I found that muttaqin means ___."

Talk together:
Make a small plan: "This week, I will sit with someone who is on their own."
Action: Sit with someone who is on their own.
