4-I guide
A command will be given to take the wrongdoer into the middle of the Blaze.
Start with bismillah.
Ask: "What should you do if there is a fire?"
Watch the Twinkl video Fire Safety for Kids.
Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "What will happen to the wrongdoer?"
Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "How can I keep myself safe from the Fire of the next life?" Younger children can draw theirs.
Find it in the mushaf: Surah Ad-Dukhan is surah 44. Find ayah 47. The key word khudhuhu means seize him. This ayah describes the arrogant wrongdoer being taken to the Fire. We learn fire safety to protect our bodies in this world. Faith, prayer and good deeds are how we protect ourselves in the next.
Fact: What three things does a fire need to burn?
Ages 5–8: Fire drill. Practise your family fire escape plan.
Ages 9–12: Protection plan. Write three ways to protect yourself from fire in this life and three from the Fire in the next.
Finish with: "I found that fire needs ___."

Talk together:
Make a small plan: "This week, I will practise our family fire plan and make du'a for protection."
Action: Practise our family fire plan and make du'a for protection.
