4-I guide
We chose them knowingly above the people of their time.
Start with bismillah.
Ask: "What does it mean to be given responsibility?"
Watch the Jessica Diaz video Responsibility for Kids.
Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "How did Allah choose them?"
Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "When someone is chosen, what do they have to do?" Younger children can draw theirs.
Find it in the mushaf: Surah Ad-Dukhan is surah 44. Find ayah 32. The key word ikhtarnahum means We chose them. In their time, Allah chose the Children of Israel to carry His message, sending them many prophets. Being chosen is not about being better; it is a responsibility to live by Allah's guidance. Every believer today carries that responsibility too.
Fact: What does responsibility mean?
Ages 5–8: Job chart. Choose one family job to be responsible for this week.
Ages 9–12: Chosen to carry. Write what responsibility Muslims carry today.
Finish with: "I found that responsibility means ___."

Talk together:
Make a small plan: "This week, I will take full responsibility for one family job."
Action: Take full responsibility for one family job.
