وَلَا يَصُدَّنَّكُمُ ٱلشَّيْطَٰنُ ۖ إِنَّهُۥ لَكُمْ عَدُوٌّۭ مُّبِينٌۭ
Wa lā yaṣuddannakumu shshay'ṭānu . 'innahu lakum' ʻaduwun mmubīnun
Let not the Evil One hinder you: for he is to you an enemy avowed.

Let not Satan block you; he is your clear enemy.
Start with bismillah.
Ask: "How does shaytan try to stop us doing good?"

Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "What does shaytan try to do?"
Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "How can I spot shaytan's tricks?" Younger children can draw theirs.
Find it in the mushaf: Surah Az-Zukhruf is surah 43. Find ayah 62. The key words 'aduwwun mubin mean an open, clear enemy. Shaytan tries to stand in the way of the straight path, making us lazy, angry or doubtful. Knowing he is an enemy helps us stay alert. Seeking refuge with Allah and remembering Him keep us safe.
Fact: What are three tricks shaytan uses?
Ages 5–8: Block the block. Draw a path with a roadblock and draw yourself saying bismillah to remove it.
Ages 9–12: Trick list. Write three tricks shaytan uses and a way to beat each one.
Finish with: "I found that three tricks are ___."
Talk together:
Make a small plan: "This week, I will seek refuge with Allah when I feel lazy about salah."
Action: Seek refuge with Allah when you feel lazy about salah.
