إِنْ هُوَ إِلَّا عَبْدٌ أَنْعَمْنَا عَلَيْهِ وَجَعَلْنَٰهُ مَثَلًۭا لِّبَنِىٓ إِسْرَٰٓءِيلَ
'In' huwa 'illā ʻab'dun 'an'ʻam'nā ʻalay'hi wajaʻalnāhu mathalan llibanī 'is'rā'īla
He was no more than a servant: We granted Our favour to him, and We made him an example to the Children of Israel.

He was only a servant whom We favoured and made an example for the Children of Israel.
Start with bismillah.
Ask: "What miracles did Allah give Prophet 'Isa?"
Watch the Stories of the Prophets video Prophet Isa Story.
Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "How does Allah describe 'Isa?"
Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "Why is being Allah's servant an honour?" Younger children can draw theirs.
Find it in the mushaf: Surah Az-Zukhruf is surah 43. Find ayah 59. The key word 'abdun means a servant. Allah honoured 'Isa with many gifts: he spoke as a baby, healed the sick by Allah's permission, and taught wisdom. Yet he was Allah's servant, not Allah. Being a servant of Allah is the highest honour any person can have.
Fact: What did 'Isa say when he spoke as a baby, according to Surah Maryam?
Ages 5–8: Gifts list. List three gifts Allah gave 'Isa.
Ages 9–12: Servant of Allah. Write why being called Allah's servant is an honour.
Finish with: "I found that baby 'Isa said ___."
Talk together:
Make a small plan: "This week, I will do one act of service for Allah each day."
Action: Do one act of service for Allah each day.
