Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "How do seeds wait in the dry ground for years?" Younger children can draw theirs.

Find it in the mushaf: Surah Az-Zukhruf is surah 43. Find ayah 11. The key words bi-qadar mean in due measure. Allah sends rain in just the right amount. In some of the driest deserts, seeds wait for years, then bloom all at once after rain. The ayah says this is how people will be brought back to life: a sign to ponder.

Ages 5–8: Desert garden. Plant seeds in dry soil, water them and watch what happens.

Ages 9–12: Measure it. Find out how much rain your area gets in a year.
