Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "Who keeps watch over people?"

Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "Why wasn't the Prophet in charge of what people chose?" Younger children can draw theirs.

Find it in the mushaf: Surah Ash-Shura is surah 42. Find ayah 6. The key word hafiz means one who guards and keeps watch. Some people chose idols as protectors instead of Allah. Allah tells the Prophet that He Himself is watching over them, and the Prophet's job is to share the message, not to force anyone. This takes away worry: we do our part kindly and leave hearts to Allah.

Ages 5–8: I see you. Play a gentle game of hide and seek, then talk about how Allah sees everywhere.

Ages 9–12: My part, Allah's part. Make two columns: what I can do (speak kindly, set an example) and what only Allah can do (change hearts).
