Start with bismillah.

Ask: "Did other prophets face people who argued with them?"

Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "What two qualities of Allah are mentioned?"

Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "How did earlier messengers stay patient?" Younger children can draw theirs.

Find it in the mushaf: Surah Fussilat is surah 41. Find ayah 43. The key word maghfirah means forgiveness. The Prophet was comforted: the hurtful things people said to him had been said to earlier messengers too. They stayed patient, and so could he. Allah has great forgiveness for those who turn back, and fair punishment for those who refuse.

Ages 5–8: Prophet picture clues. Draw an ark, a staff, a whale and a camel, and guess which prophet's story each belongs to.

Ages 9–12: Same struggles. Pick two prophets and write how people treated them and how they responded.

Finish with: "I found that the close friend of Allah is ___."
