Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "What two things does the Quran bring?"

Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "Why do some people turn away from good advice?" Younger children can draw theirs.

Find it in the mushaf: Surah Fussilat is surah 41. Find ayah 4. The key words bashiran wa nadhiran mean bringing good news and warning. The Quran tells us about Allah's rewards and also warns us of danger, like a caring guide. Many people heard it with their ears but did not listen with their hearts. Real listening means paying attention and acting on what we hear.

Ages 5–8: Listening game. One person gives three simple instructions; see who can follow all of them.

Ages 9–12: Two columns. List three pieces of good news and three warnings from ayat you know.
