Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "How do mountains bless the earth?" Younger children can draw theirs.

Find it in the mushaf: Surah Fussilat is surah 41. Find ayah 10. The key word aqwataha means its provisions or food. Allah set mountains firmly on the earth. Mountains catch rain and snow, feed rivers and give homes to animals. Allah also measured out food for every living thing, so each creature finds what it needs.

Fact: Which mountain is the tallest when measured from its base on the sea floor?

Ages 5–8: Mountain rain. Crumple foil into a mountain on a tray and spray water to see where it runs.

Ages 9–12: Mountain gifts. List five blessings that come from mountains.

Finish with: "I found that the tallest mountain from its base is ___."
