Start with bismillah.

Ask: "How many prophets do you think Allah sent?"

Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "Were all the prophets' stories told in the Quran?"

Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "Who were the prophets whose stories we don't know?" Younger children can draw theirs.

Find it in the mushaf: Surah Ghafir is surah 40. Find ayah 78. The key word qasasna means We told the story. Allah sent many messengers to many peoples. The Quran tells us some of their stories, but not all. Every messenger, named or unnamed, deserves our respect. None of them could perform a miracle except by Allah's permission.

Fact: Which surah is named Al-Anbiya, The Prophets, and what is its number?

Ages 5–8: Prophet picture book. Draw a page for one prophet whose story you know.

Ages 9–12: Prophet map. On a map, mark where five prophets lived.

Finish with: "I found that Al-Anbiya is surah ___."

• Why do we respect all of Allah's messengers?
• Which name of Allah does this remind you of?
• Which prophet's story would you like to know more about?
• Why could prophets only show signs by Allah's permission?
• What would you like to ask about this ayah?
