فَوَقَىٰهُ ٱللَّهُ سَيِّـَٔاتِ مَا مَكَرُوا۟ ۖ وَحَاقَ بِـَٔالِ فِرْعَوْنَ سُوٓءُ ٱلْعَذَابِ
Fawaqāhu -llahu sayyi'āti mā makarū . waḥāqa bi'āli fir'ʻaw'na sū'u l-ʻadhābi
Then Allah saved him from (every) ill that they plotted (against him), but the burnt of the Penalty encompassed on all sides the People of Pharaoh.

So Allah protected him from the evils they plotted, while a terrible punishment closed in on Pharaoh's people.
Start with bismillah.
Ask: "How did Allah look after the brave believer?"

Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "What happened to the believer?"
Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "Does Allah always protect those who trust Him?" Younger children can draw theirs.
Find it in the mushaf: Surah Ghafir is surah 40. Find ayah 45. The key word waqahu means He protected him. The brave believer trusted Allah, and Allah kept him safe from all their plans. Pharaoh's people, who refused the truth, faced the result of their choices. Trust in Allah is never wasted.
Fact: Which ayah in Surah Al-Hajj says Allah defends those who believe?
