Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "Where do we all return?"

Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "Why do people pray to things that cannot hear?" Younger children can draw theirs.

Find it in the mushaf: Surah Ghafir is surah 40. Find ayah 43. The key word da'wah here means a call that can be answered. Idols cannot answer any call, now or later. Only Allah hears every du'a and answers it. In the end, all of us return to Allah, so it makes sense to call on Him alone.

Ages 5–8: Can it hear? Whisper to a toy, then to a family member, and talk about who can really hear.

Ages 9–12: Only Allah answers. Write three du'as and why only Allah can answer each.

Finish with: "I found that the ayah is Al-A'raf ___."
