4-I guide
And, my people, I am afraid for you of a Day of crying out to one another.
Start with bismillah.
Ask: "What choices today will matter in the future?"
Watch the Project Better Self video The Choice. (It has music.)
Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "What will people do on that Day?"
Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "Why will people call out to each other?" Younger children can draw theirs.
Find it in the mushaf: Surah Ghafir is surah 40. Find ayah 32. The key words yawm at-tanad mean the Day of calling out. On the Last Day, people will call out to each other, some looking for help and some full of regret. The believer warned his people because he wanted them to choose well now, while there was time.
Fact: Which short surah's name means the Striking Calamity?
Ages 5–8: Echo game. Call out in a big room or outside and listen for an echo.
Ages 9–12: Choice and result. Write about a small choice that led to a big result.
Finish with: "I found that the surah is ___."

Talk together:
Make a small plan: "This week, I will stop and think before one important choice each day."
Action: Stop and think before one important choice each day.
