Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "What did Pharaoh claim?"

Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "Why couldn't Pharaoh's power save him?" Younger children can draw theirs.

Find it in the mushaf: Surah Ghafir is surah 40. Find ayah 29. The key word zahirin means having the upper hand. The believer reminded his people: you are powerful today, but power cannot protect anyone from Allah. Pharaoh answered proudly that only his opinion was right. Proud leaders think they alone know best.

Ages 5–8: Sandcastle king. Build a sand or block tower and gently knock it down, talking about how power passes.

Ages 9–12: Listening leader. Write how a good leader is different from Pharaoh.
