Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "Who is promised good?"

Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "What about people with a real excuse?" Younger children can draw theirs.

Find it in the mushaf: Surah An-Nisa' is surah 4. Find ayah 95. When this ayah came, a blind Companion asked about his excuse, and Allah added 'without excuse'. Allah is fair to those who can't. Effort raises ranks.

Fact: Who asked about his excuse? 'Abdullah ibn Umm Maktum, who was blind.

Ages 5–8: Effort counts. Put full effort into a task.

Ages 9–12: Fair ranks. Write how Allah is fair to those with excuses.

Finish with: "Ibn Umm Maktum was ___."
