يَعِدُهُمْ وَيُمَنِّيهِمْ ۖ وَمَا يَعِدُهُمُ ٱلشَّيْطَٰنُ إِلَّا غُرُورًا
Yaʻiduhum' wayumannīhim' . wamā yaʻiduhumu shshay'ṭānu 'illā ghurūran
Satan makes them promises, and creates in them false desires; but satan's promises are nothing but deception.

Shaytan makes promises and raises hopes, but his promises are nothing but deception.
Start with bismillah.
Ask: "What happens to a promise built on nothing?"
Ummah Muslim shares a recitation of ayah 120. As it plays, think about today's idea: Empty Promises.
Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "What are Shaytan's promises?"
Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "Why do people believe him?" Younger children can draw theirs.
Find it in the mushaf: Surah An-Nisa' is surah 4. Find ayah 120. Shaytan makes wrong look fun and promises happiness, but it never comes true. Allah's promises are true.
Fact: In Ibrahim 14:22, Shaytan admits his promises were false.
Ages 5–8: Bubble promise. Blow a bubble and watch it pop.
Ages 9–12: True and false promises. Compare Allah's promises with Shaytan's.
Finish with: "Shaytan's promises are ___."
Talk together:
Make a small plan: "This week, I will remember Allah's true promises when tempted."
Action: Remember Allah's true promises when tempted.
