وَٱتَّبِعُوٓا۟ أَحْسَنَ مَآ أُنزِلَ إِلَيْكُم مِّن رَّبِّكُم مِّن قَبْلِ أَن يَأْتِيَكُمُ ٱلْعَذَابُ بَغْتَةًۭ وَأَنتُمْ لَا تَشْعُرُونَ
Wa -ttabiʻū 'aḥ'sana mā 'unzila 'ilay'kum mmin rrabbikum mmin qab'li 'an ya''tiyakumu l-ʻadhābu bagh'tatan wa'antum' lā tash'ʻurūna
"And follow the best of (the courses) revealed to you from your Lord, before the Penalty comes on you - of a sudden while ye perceive not!-

And follow the finest of what has been sent down to you from your Lord before the punishment comes upon you suddenly, while you do not expect it.
Start with bismillah.
Ask: "Why is learning about Islam important?"

Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "What should we follow?"
Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "How do I know the finest way to act?" Younger children can draw theirs.
Find it in the mushaf: Surah Az-Zumar is surah 39. Find ayah 55. The key word baghtatan means suddenly. Allah has sent down the Quran, the finest guidance. We should learn it and follow it now, because we never know when our time will end. Learning a little every day keeps us on the finest path.

Ages 5–8: Finest choice. Act out two choices, a fine one and a better one, and pick the finest.
Ages 9–12: Daily lesson. Plan one short Islamic lesson to learn each day this week.

Talk together:
Make a small plan: "This week, I will learn one new thing about Islam every day."
Action: Learn one new thing about Islam every day.
