Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "Who decides how much provision each person has?"

Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "How can I be thankful whether I have more or less?" Younger children can draw theirs.

Find it in the mushaf: Surah Az-Zumar is surah 39. Find ayah 52. The key word yabsutu means He widens. Allah gives more to some and less to others for reasons He knows. Having more is not proof of being better, and having less is not proof of being worse. Both are tests: thankfulness for the one, patience for the other.

Fact: Which name of Allah means the One who widens provision?

Ages 5–8: Share fairly. Divide a snack fairly among family members and talk about sharing what Allah gave.

Ages 9–12: Test of plenty, test of little. Write how someone with more and someone with less can each pass their test.

Finish with: "I found that the name is ___."

• How can we help people who have less?
• What du'a can we make for our provision?
• What would you like to ask about this ayah?

Make a small plan: "This week, I will make du'a for good provision for my family and others."
