قُل لِّلَّهِ ٱلشَّفَٰعَةُ جَمِيعًۭا ۖ لَّهُۥ مُلْكُ ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَٱلْأَرْضِ ۖ ثُمَّ إِلَيْهِ تُرْجَعُونَ
Qul llillahi shshafāʻatu jamīʻan . llahu mul'ku ssamāwāti wal-'ar'ḍi . thumma 'ilay'hi tur'jaʻūna
Say: "To Allah belongs exclusively (the right to grant) intercession: to Him belongs the dominion of the heavens and the earth: In the End, it is to Him that ye shall be brought back."

Say: All intercession belongs to Allah; His is the rule of the skies and the earth, and to Him you will be brought back.
Start with bismillah.
Ask: "Who owns everything in the sky and on earth?"
Watch the Islamic Stories for Kids video Who is Allah?
Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "To whom does all intercession belong?"
Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "Who can speak for us on the Last Day?" Younger children can draw theirs.
Find it in the mushaf: Surah Az-Zumar is surah 39. Find ayah 44. The key word jami'an means all of it. Nobody can speak for anyone on the Last Day unless Allah allows it. All power to help belongs to Allah, the Owner of the heavens and the earth. That is why we turn directly to Him.
Fact: Which ayah in Surah An-Najm says the help of many angels is of no use unless Allah permits?
Ages 5–8: Owner's map. Draw the sky and the earth and write across them: all belongs to Allah.
Ages 9–12: Direct to Allah. Write a du'a in your own words asking Allah for help on the Last Day.
Finish with: "I found that the ayah is An-Najm ___."
Talk together:
Make a small plan: "This week, I will end each salah with a du'a for the Last Day."
Action: End each salah with a du'a for the Last Day.
