Start with bismillah.

Ask: "Who do you spend most of your time with?"

Watch the Noor Kids video Why Good Friends Matter in Islam?

Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "What is said about the crowd rushing in?"

Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "Do my friends change who I become?" Younger children can draw theirs.

Find it in the mushaf: Surah Sad is surah 38. Find ayah 59. The key word fawj means a crowd or group. On that Day, people who led others into wrong and those who followed them arrive together. No one welcomes anyone. This shows how much our friends and groups shape where we end up. Choosing good company now is a big decision.

Fact: Which ayah in Surah Al-Furqan has a person wishing they had never taken a certain friend?

Ages 5–8: Friend check. Draw your friends and write one good thing each one helps you do.

Ages 9–12: Group power. Write how a group can make it easier or harder to do the right thing.

Finish with: "I found that the ayah is Al-Furqan ___."

Talk together:

• Why do groups affect where we end up?
• Which name of Allah does this remind you of?
• What makes a good friend in Islam?
• How can you be a good influence on your friends?
• What would you like to ask about this ayah?

Make a small plan: "This week, I will invite a friend to do something good with me."

• Invite a friend to good.
• Do a friend check.
• Share group power.
• Next time: the next ayah (38:60) shows followers blaming leaders. Explore it together!

Action: Invite a friend to do something good with you.
