Find it in the mushaf: Surah Sad is surah 38. Find ayah 26. The key word khalifah means a successor or caretaker on earth. Allah made Dawud a ruler and told him to judge with truth and not to follow his own wishes. Every one of us is a small caretaker too: of our room, our things, our family and the earth. Remembering the Day of Account helps us stay fair.
