4-I guide
That is truly how We repay those who do good with excellence.
Start with bismillah.
Ask: "What does it mean to do something with excellence?"
Watch the Islamic Lessons Made Easy video Al-Shakur Explained.
Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "Who does Allah reward like this?"
Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "What is ihsan?" Younger children can draw theirs.
Find it in the mushaf: Surah As-Saffat is surah 37. Find ayah 80. The key word al-muhsinin means those who do ihsan, excellent good. Ihsan means doing your best as if you see Allah, knowing He sees you. Allah, Ash-Shakur, appreciates every effort and rewards it generously. This ayah repeats after several prophet stories in the surah.
Fact: What does the name Ash-Shakur mean?
Ages 5–8: Excellent job. Do one chore with extra care and show your family.
Ages 9–12: Ihsan list. Write five everyday tasks and how to do each with ihsan.
Finish with: "I found that Ash-Shakur means ___."

Talk together:
Make a small plan: "This week, I will do my homework or chores with ihsan."
Action: Do your homework or chores with ihsan.
