Start with bismillah.
Ask: "How do you feel when you are welcomed warmly into someone's home?"
Watch the Islam Station video Prophet Ibrahim's Strange Guests.
Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "What two things are compared?"
Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "What is the tree of Zaqqum?" Younger children can draw theirs.
Find it in the mushaf: Surah As-Saffat is surah 37. Find ayah 62. The key word nuzul means the welcome food served to a guest. Ages 5–8: Host practice. Pretend to welcome a guest with a smile, a seat and a snack.
