4-I guide
When we have died and turned to dust and bones, will we truly face judgement?
Start with bismillah.
Ask: "Where do we go after this life?"
Watch the Noor Kids video Mom, Where Do We Go When We Die?
Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "What did the friend doubt?"
Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "What happens after we die?" Younger children can draw theirs.
Find it in the mushaf: Surah As-Saffat is surah 37. Find ayah 53. The key word madinun means those who will be repaid. The doubting friend could not believe in a day of reward. The believer trusted Allah's promise. This life is a short journey; the next life is our forever home, and every good deed travels with us.
Fact: What is the Arabic word for the life after this one?
Ages 5–8: Journey bag. Draw a bag and fill it with good deeds to take on the journey.
Ages 9–12: Short and long. Compare the length of a lifetime with forever, using a dot and a long line.
Finish with: "I found that the word is ___."
Talk together:
Make a small plan: "This week, I will do one good deed each day for my journey bag."
Action: Do one good deed each day for your journey bag.
