Start with bismillah.

Ask: "What does it mean to confirm someone's message?"

Watch the Stories of the Prophets video Prophet Muhammad, Part 1.

Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "What two things did the Prophet do?"

Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "How was his message the same as earlier prophets'?" Younger children can draw theirs.

Find it in the mushaf: Surah As-Saffat is surah 37. Find ayah 37. The key word saddaqa means he confirmed. The Prophet did not bring a strange new religion. He brought the same core message as Nuh, Ibrahim, Musa and all the messengers: worship Allah alone and do good. This surah goes on to tell several of their stories.

Fact: How many prophets are named in the Quran?

Ages 5–8: Chain of light. Make a paper chain with one link for each prophet you know.

Ages 9–12: Same message. Pick three prophets and write the shared message they all taught.

Finish with: "I found that ___ prophets are named."

Talk together:

• How did the Prophet confirm earlier messengers?
• Which name of Allah does this remind you of?
• What message did all prophets share?
• Which prophet's story do you know best?
• What would you like to ask about this ayah?

Make a small plan: "This week, I will learn one new thing about a prophet."
