Wa 'aq'bala baʻ'ḍuhum' ʻalā baʻ'ḍin yatassā'alūna

And they will face one another, asking questions.
Start with bismillah.
Ask: "What happens to a friendship built only on doing silly or wrong things?"

Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "What do they do when they meet?"
Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "Why do bad friendships end in arguments?" Younger children can draw theirs.
Find it in the mushaf: Surah As-Saffat is surah 37. Find ayah 27. The key word yatasa'alun means questioning one another. Those who misled each other now argue about whose fault it was. Later in this same surah, people of Jannah also turn to each other, but they talk kindly. The kind of friendship we build here decides which conversation we will have there.

Ages 5–8: Kind talk. Practise turning to a family member and asking a kind question.
Ages 9–12: Two conversations. Compare ayat 27 and 50 and write how the two conversations differ.
