4-I guide
Instead of Allah, and guide them onto the road to the Blaze.
Start with bismillah.
Ask: "What happens if you follow someone who is lost?"
Watch the Bolt and Maya video Don't Follow the Crowd.
Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "Which road are they led to?"
Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "How do I know which road is right?" Younger children can draw theirs.
Find it in the mushaf: Surah As-Saffat is surah 37. Find ayah 23. The key word sirat means road or path. Those who worshipped things besides Allah are led along the wrong road. Every day in Al-Fatihah we ask Allah for the straight path. Asking for guidance is the most important du'a we make.
Fact: How many times a day do we ask for the straight path in the obligatory prayers?
Ages 5–8: Maze. Draw a maze and find the one route that reaches the garden.
Ages 9–12: Guidance count. Work out how many times we recite Al-Fatihah in the five daily obligatory prayers.
Finish with: "I found that we ask ___ times."

Talk together:
Make a small plan: "This week, I will think about the meaning when I ask for the straight path."
Action: Think about the meaning when you ask for the straight path.
