Say to those who ask if they will really be raised after death: yes indeed, and you will be humbled.
Start with bismillah.
Ask: "What happens to a proud person when they find out they were wrong?"
Watch the Islamic Lessons Made Easy video Al-Mutakabbir Explained.
Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "What is the Prophet told to answer?"
Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "Why will the proud be humbled?" Younger children can draw theirs.
Find it in the mushaf: Surah As-Saffat is surah 37. Find ayah 18. The key word dakhirun means humbled, brought low. The answer is a clear yes: everyone will be raised. Those who were proud and mocking will be humbled. Only Allah is Al-Mutakabbir, the One truly great. For people, humility is beautiful.
Fact: What does the name Al-Mutakabbir mean when used for Allah?
