Start with bismillah.

Ask: "How can a warning heard in time save someone?"

Watch the IQRA Cartoon video Makkah Accepted Islam.

Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "Whose morning will be bad?"

Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "How can I make sure my mornings are good?" Younger children can draw theirs.

Find it in the mushaf: Surah As-Saffat is surah 37. Find ayah 177. The key word sahah means an open yard or courtyard. This one-line warning tells what happens to those who ignore warnings until it is too late. But many people of Makkah listened in time and became believers. Their story is hopeful: it is never too late while we are alive.

Fact: Which prayer do Muslims pray at dawn to start the morning well?

Ages 5–8: Good morning plan. Draw your morning routine with prayer and a kind word.

Ages 9–12: Listening in time. Write about a time listening to advice saved you trouble.

Finish with: "I found that the dawn prayer is ___."

Talk together:

• What is this short warning about?
• Which name of Allah does this remind you of?
• How did many people of Makkah listen in time?
• How can we start each morning well?
• What would you like to ask about this ayah?

Make a small plan: "This week, I will start each morning with salah and a kind word."

• Start mornings well.
• Draw a good morning plan.
• Share listening in time.
• Next time: the next ayah (37:178) repeats the call to wait. Explore it together!

Action: Start each morning with salah and a kind word.
