And it is we who line up in ranks.
Start with bismillah.
Ask: "Where do we stand in rows in our own worship?"
Watch the Life and Deen video The Right Way to Stand in Salah: Straighten the Prayer Rows.
Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "What do the angels do?"
Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "How does the surah's end connect to its beginning?" Younger children can draw theirs.
Find it in the mushaf: Surah As-Saffat is surah 37. Find ayah 165. The key word as-saffun means those standing in rows, the same root as the surah's name. The surah began with an oath by those in rows and now, near its end, the angels say: we are the ones in rows. The surah comes full circle. We join their example when we line up neatly in salah.
Fact: Which ayah at the very start of this surah uses the same word?
Ages 5–8: Row practice. Practise standing shoulder to shoulder and foot to foot with your family.
Ages 9–12: Full circle. Write how the beginning and end of Surah As-Saffat connect.
Finish with: "I found that it is ayah ___."

Talk together:
Make a small plan: "This week, I will help straighten the rows when we pray together."
Action: Help straighten the rows when we pray together.
