And whenever they see a sign, they turn it into a joke.
Start with bismillah.
Ask: "Is it kind to laugh at someone's beliefs?"
Watch the MuslimYouthHub video Islam Says Bullying Is Wrong.
Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "What did they do when they saw a sign?"
Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "Why do some people turn serious things into jokes?" Younger children can draw theirs.
Find it in the mushaf: Surah As-Saffat is surah 37. Find ayah 14. The key word yastaskhirun means they call others to mock. Some people did not just laugh; they encouraged others to laugh too. That is how bullying spreads. A believer refuses to join in and stands up kindly for what is right.
Fact: What does the word ayah mean besides a verse of the Quran?
Ages 5–8: Signs around us. Find three signs of Allah outside, like a leaf, a bird and the sky.
Ages 9–12: Stop the spread. Write what you could do if a group started mocking someone.
Finish with: "I found that ayah also means ___."

Talk together:
Make a small plan: "This week, I will kindly stop a joke that makes fun of someone."
Action: Kindly stop a joke that makes fun of someone.
