And Lut was indeed one of the messengers.
Start with bismillah.
Ask: "How do you stay good when the people around you choose wrong?"

Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "What was Lut?"
Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "Who was Lut related to?" Younger children can draw theirs.
Find it in the mushaf: Surah As-Saffat is surah 37. Find ayah 133. The key word rasul means messenger. Lut was the nephew of Ibrahim and believed in him early on. He was sent to a town whose people did very wrong things and refused to change. Lut kept calling them to goodness and stayed pure himself.
Fact: What was Lut's family connection to Ibrahim?
Ages 5–8: Stay clean. Wash your hands and talk about keeping our hearts clean too.
Ages 9–12: Pure in a hard place. Write how someone can stay good in a place where wrong is common.
Finish with: "I found that Lut was Ibrahim's ___."

Talk together:
