When Allah wills something, He only says Be, and it is.
Start with bismillah.
Ask: "How long does it take you to build a sandcastle?"
Watch the Let the Quran Speak video Be, and It Is: How God Creates. Play the first few minutes.
Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "What does Allah say?"
Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "Does Allah ever need tools or time?" Younger children can draw theirs.
Find it in the mushaf: Surah Ya-Sin is surah 36. Find ayah 82. The key words kun fayakun mean be, and it is. People need materials, tools and time to make anything. Allah needs none of these. When He wills, His command is enough. This is why nothing is hard for Him, whether creating a galaxy or reviving a person.
Fact: In how many places in the Quran does the phrase be, and it is appear?
Ages 5–8: Maker's list. List everything you need to bake a cake, then remember that Allah needs nothing.
Ages 9–12: Phrase hunt. Use the app search to find other ayat containing be, and it is.
Finish with: "I found that the phrase appears ___ times."
