Start with bismillah.
Ask: "If you ignore a teacher's instructions all year, whose fault is a poor mark?"

Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "Is Allah ever unfair?" Younger children can draw theirs.
Find it in the mushaf: Surah Ya-Sin is surah 36. Find ayah 64. The key word bima kuntum means because of what you used to do. The result comes from people's own choices, made again and again over a lifetime. Allah is never unfair. And His mercy is so wide that sincere repentance wipes away past mistakes.
Fact: What Arabic word means turning back to Allah in repentance?
Ages 5–8: Turning back. Walk the wrong way across the room, then turn around and walk back to the start.
Ages 9–12: Habits add up. Calculate how many times a small daily habit happens in a year.
Finish with: "I found that the word is ___."

Make a small plan: "This week, I will turn back to Allah quickly after any mistake."
