Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "Why is sleep like a small rest before waking?" Younger children can draw theirs.

Find it in the mushaf: Surah Ya-Sin is surah 36. Find ayah 52. The key word marqadina means our sleeping place. Rising on that Day is described like waking up. Even here, the name used is Ar-Rahman, the Most Merciful, and the messengers are shown to have told the truth. Each morning, waking up is a small reminder of that bigger rising.

Ages 5–8: Sleep chart. Make a chart of your bedtime and wake time for a week.

Ages 9–12: Sleep science. Find out what happens in the brain during deep sleep.
