Start with bismillah.

Ask: "If someone says they built a house, what proof would you ask for?"

Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "What three proofs are asked for?"

Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "Why can't false gods create anything?" Younger children can draw theirs.

Find it in the mushaf: Surah Fatir is surah 35. Find ayah 40. The key word arunī means show me. Allah gives a fair test: what did your false gods create? Do they own any part of the sky? Did they send a book? The answer to all three is nothing. Allah alone creates, owns and sends down books.

Fact: How many stars can a person see with the naked eye on a very dark night?

Ages 5–8: Proof game. Each person claims they made something in the room and must show proof.

Ages 9–12: Three questions. Write the three questions from the ayah and answer each with a reason.

Finish with: "I found that we can see about ___ stars."

• What has only Allah created?
• What do people today rely on instead of Allah?
• What would you like to ask about this ayah?

Make a small plan: "This week, I will name one thing only Allah could create each day."
