وَقَالُوٓا۟ ءَامَنَّا بِهِۦ وَأَنَّىٰ لَهُمُ ٱلتَّنَاوُشُ مِن مَّكَانٍۭ بَعِيدٍۢ
Wa qālū 'āmannā bihī wa'annā lahumu ttanāwushu min mmakānin baʻīdin
And they will say, "We do believe (now) in the (Truth)"; but how could they receive (Faith) from a position (so far off,-

Start with bismillah.
Ask: "What happens if you try to catch a bus after it has left?"

Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "Why can't they reach faith then?"
Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "When is the right time to believe?" Younger children can draw theirs.
Find it in the mushaf: Surah Saba is surah 34. Find ayah 52. The key word at-tanawush means reaching out to take. Believing is like catching something within arm's reach: in this life it is close and easy. After death it is too far away. That is a strong reason to strengthen faith now, while it is within reach.
Fact: Which prophet's people believed at the last moment and were saved, a rare case in the Quran?
Ages 5–8: Within reach. Place a toy close and far away, and talk about which is easier to take.
Ages 9–12: Now list. Write five good things that are easy to do now and impossible later.
Finish with: "I found that it was the people of ___."
Talk together:
Make a small plan: "This week, I will not put off a good deed I can do today."
Action: Not put off a good deed you can do today.
