Juz 22 · Page 430وَمَا كَانَ لَهُۥ عَلَيْهِم مِّن سُلْطَٰنٍ إِلَّا لِنَعْلَمَ مَن يُؤْمِنُ بِٱلْءَاخِرَةِ مِمَّنْ هُوَ مِنْهَا فِى شَكٍّۢ ۗ وَرَبُّكَ عَلَىٰ كُلِّ شَىْءٍ حَفِيظٌۭ
How to read it
Wa mā kāna lahu ʻalay'him mmin sulṭānin 'illā linaʻ'lama man yu''minu bil-'ākhirati mimman' huwa min'hā fī shakkin . warabbuka ʻalā kulli shay''in ḥafīẓun
But he had no authority over them,- except that We might test the man who believes in the Hereafter from him who is in doubt concerning it: and thy Lord doth watch over all things.
