Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "What is forgiven in this ayah?"

Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "How does Islam care for children without parents?" Younger children can draw theirs.

Find it in the mushaf: Surah Al-Ahzab is surah 33. Find ayah 5. The key word ud'uhum means call them. Children raised in another family are loved and cared for, but they keep their own birth names, which is fair and honest. If their fathers are unknown, they are brothers and friends in faith. The Quran praises caring for orphans many times, and Allah forgives honest mistakes.

Fact: Which prophet was himself an orphan and raised by his grandfather and uncle?

Ages 5–8: Name meanings. Find out what your name means and who chose it.

Ages 9–12: Caring families. List three ways families can care for children who need a home.

Finish with: "I found that it was ___."

• Why does Allah forgive honest mistakes?
• What would you like to ask about this ayah?

Make a small plan: "This week, I will help or support a child who needs care, for example through a charity."
