4-I guide
The Prophet is told to leave those who mock and wait patiently, for they too are waiting.
Start with bismillah.
Ask: "When is it wise to walk away from an argument?"
Watch the Asif Jawed video The Sunnah of Surah Sajdah, a Fajr reflection.
Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "What should the Prophet do?"
Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "How can I wait patiently for Allah's plan?" Younger children can draw theirs.
Find it in the mushaf: Surah As-Sajdah is surah 32. Find ayah 30, the last ayah. The key word intazir means wait. The Prophet did not need to argue endlessly. He could step away calmly and leave the outcome to Allah.
Fact: The key word intazir means wait.
Looking back: Surah As-Sajdah began with the Book that has no doubt, showed how Allah made us from clay and gave us hearing, sight and hearts, praised those who bow down and pray at night, and reminded us that rain brings life to dry land.
Ages 5–8: Surah map. Draw five pictures, one for each big idea in the surah.
Ages 9–12: Surah summary. Write one sentence for the beginning, middle and end of As-Sajdah.
Finish with: "The lesson I will remember most from As-Sajdah is ___."

Talk together:
Make a small plan: "This week, I will walk away calmly from one pointless argument."
Action: Walk away calmly from one pointless argument.
