Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "What did some people claim?"

Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "How do we know the Quran is not made up?" Younger children can draw theirs.

Find it in the mushaf: Surah As-Sajdah is surah 32. Find ayah 3. The key word iftarahu means he invented it. The people of Makkah had not had a prophet for a very long time. Some accused the Prophet of making up the Quran, though they knew he never lied. Allah answers: it is al-haqq, the truth, sent so that they might be guided.

Fact: What title did the people of Makkah give the Prophet for his honesty before revelation?

Ages 5–8: True or made up. Tell two short stories, one true and one invented, and let others guess.

Ages 9–12: Truth test. Write three ways to check whether a claim is true.

Finish with: "I found that he was called ___."
