فَذُوقُوا۟ بِمَا نَسِيتُمْ لِقَآءَ يَوْمِكُمْ هَٰذَآ إِنَّا نَسِينَٰكُمْ ۖ وَذُوقُوا۟ عَذَابَ ٱلْخُلْدِ بِمَا كُنتُمْ تَعْمَلُونَ
Fadhūqū bimā nassītum' liqā'a yaw'mikum' hādhā 'innā nassīnākum' . wadhūqū ʻadhāba l-khuldi bimā kuntum' taʻ'malūna
"Taste ye then - for ye forgot the Meeting of this Day of yours, and We too will forget you - taste ye the Penalty of Eternity for your (evil) deeds!"

Those who ignored the Day of meeting Allah will be left to face the results of what they did.
Start with bismillah.
Ask: "What happens if you forget about an important appointment?"
Listen to the IQRA Al-Quran recitation of Surah As-Sajdah by Sheikh Shuraim.
Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "What did they forget?"
Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "How can I remember the meeting with Allah?" Younger children can draw theirs.
Find it in the mushaf: Surah As-Sajdah is surah 32. Find ayah 14. The key word nasitum means you forgot. Forgetting here means ignoring on purpose. Those who lived as if they would never meet Allah will face the consequences of their choices. Remembering that we will meet Him helps us live well.
Fact: Which ayah in Surah Ta-Ha says to establish prayer for Allah's remembrance?
Ages 5–8: Reminder notes. Make little notes that say Allah sees me and stick them around the house.
Ages 9–12: Remember plan. Write three daily habits that help you remember the Hereafter.
Finish with: "I found that it is ayah ___ of Ta-Ha."
Talk together:
Make a small plan: "This week, I will pray each prayer remembering I will meet Allah."
Action: Pray each prayer remembering you will meet Allah.
