Opening the ayah…
أُو۟لَٰٓئِكَ عَلَىٰ هُدًۭى مِّن رَّبِّهِمْ ۖ وَأُو۟لَٰٓئِكَ هُمُ ٱلْمُفْلِحُونَ
'Ūlā'ika ʻalā hudan mmin rrabbihim' . wa'ūlā'ika humu l-muf'liḥūna
These are on (true) guidance from their Lord: and these are the ones who will prosper.

4-I guide
Such people follow guidance from their Lord, and they are the ones who truly succeed.
Start with bismillah.
Ask: "What does success mean to you?"
Listen to The Meaning of Islam recitation of Surah Luqman with Arabic and English. Play the first few minutes.
Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "Who are the successful?"
Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "How is success with Allah different from success in games?" Younger children can draw theirs.
Find it in the mushaf: Surah Luqman is surah 31. Find ayah 5. The key word al-muflihun means the successful, the ones who flourish. The same words appear near the start of Surah Al-Baqarah. A farmer's word, falah, also means to plough and grow crops: success is like a harvest that comes after patient work.
Fact: How many days does a bean seed usually take to sprout?
Ages 5–8: Grow a bean. Plant a bean and care for it daily, talking about how success grows slowly.
Ages 9–12: Two kinds of success. Draw a table comparing success in this world and success with Allah.
Finish with: "I found that a bean sprouts in about ___ days."
Talk together:
Make a small plan: "This week, I will work patiently on one good goal every day."
Action: Work patiently on one good goal every day.
