Find it in the mushaf: Surah Ar-Rum is surah 30. Find ayah 46. The key word mubashshirat means bringers of good news. A sign to ponder: winds carry moist air that forms rain clouds, spread seeds and pollen, and for centuries pushed sailing ships across oceans for trade. Wind is moving air, and Allah directs it.

Fact: How far does wind carry dust from the Sahara Desert, and which rainforest does it feed?

Ages 5–8: Pinwheel. Make a paper pinwheel and watch the wind turn it.

Ages 9–12: Wind jobs. List five ways wind helps people and nature.

Finish with: "I found that Sahara dust reaches the ___."
