إِنَّ أَوَّلَ بَيْتٍۢ وُضِعَ لِلنَّاسِ لَلَّذِى بِبَكَّةَ مُبَارَكًۭا وَهُدًۭى لِّلْعَٰلَمِينَ
'Inna 'awwala bay'tin wuḍiʻa li nnāssi lalladhī bibakkata mubārakan wahudan llil'ʻālamīna

The first House of worship set up for people is the one at Bakkah, blessed and a guidance for all the worlds.
Start with bismillah.
Ask: "Which was the first house built for worshipping Allah?"
A short clip on Qari Aymen Swed Muhammad Rushdi recites ayat 92–100 of Ali 'Imran. Play the whole clip.
Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "Where is the first House?"
Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "Why is it called Bakkah?" Younger children can draw theirs.
Find it in the mushaf: Surah Ali 'Imran is surah 3. Find ayah 96. The Ka'bah in Makkah, also called Bakkah, was the first house of worship on earth. Muslims everywhere face it in prayer.
Fact: Bakkah is another name for Makkah.
Ages 5–8: Face the Qiblah. Find the Qiblah direction at home.
Ages 9–12: First House. Write three facts about the Ka'bah.
Finish with: "Bakkah is another name for ___."
Talk together:
Make a small plan: "This week, I will find the Qiblah in a new place."
Action: Find the Qiblah in a new place.
