Start with bismillah.

Ask: "Is it wise to argue about something you don't know?"

Play the short clip from Holy Qur'an-القرآن الكريم of Mishary Alafasy reciting ayat 61–70 of Ali 'Imran.

Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "Who truly knows?"

Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "Why is arguing without knowledge unwise?" Younger children can draw theirs.

Find it in the mushaf: Surah Ali 'Imran is surah 3. Find ayah 66. It's fine to discuss what we know, but arguing about what we don't know leads nowhere. Saying 'Allah knows best' is a sign of wisdom.

Fact: Allahu a'lam means 'Allah knows best'.

Ages 5–8: I don't know. Practise saying 'I don't know, let's find out'.

Ages 9–12: Wise talk. Write rules for a good discussion.

Finish with: "Allahu a'lam means Allah knows ___."

Talk together:

• What did they argue about?
• Which name of Allah does this remind you of?
• Who knows?
• When will you say 'I don't know'?

Make a small plan: "This week, I will say 'I'm not sure, let's find out' instead of guessing."

• Know before you argue.
• Allah knows best.
• Be humble.
