أَفَمَنِ ٱتَّبَعَ رِضْوَٰنَ ٱللَّهِ كَمَنۢ بَآءَ بِسَخَطٍۢ مِّنَ ٱللَّهِ وَمَأْوَىٰهُ جَهَنَّمُ ۚ وَبِئْسَ ٱلْمَصِيرُ
'Afamani (i)ttabaʻa riḍ'wāna -llahi kaman[m] bā'a bissakhaṭin mmina -llahi wama''wāhu jahannamu . wabi''sa l-maṣīru
Is the man who follows the good pleasure of Allah Like the man who draws on himself the wrath of Allah, and whose abode is in Hell?- A woeful refuge!

Is the person who follows what pleases Allah the same as one who brings Allah's anger upon themselves and ends in the Fire, a terrible destination?
Start with bismillah.
Ask: "Are the people who please Allah and those who don't the same?"
a reciter recites Ali 'Imran on Islamic Channel. A few minutes is plenty.
Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "What does the first person follow?"
Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "How do we follow Allah's pleasure?" Younger children can draw theirs.
Find it in the mushaf: Surah Ali 'Imran is surah 3. Find ayah 162. This ayah compares two paths. It mentions, in one calm line, where the wrong path ends. We choose the path that pleases Allah.
Fact: Ridwan means Allah's pleasure.
Ages 5–8: Two paths. Draw two paths and choose the right one.
Ages 9–12: Pleasing Allah. Write three things that please Allah.
Finish with: "Follow Allah's ___."
Talk together:
Make a small plan: "This week, I will do one thing each day to please Allah."
Action: Do one thing each day to please Allah.
