قَدْ كَانَ لَكُمْ ءَايَةٌۭ فِى فِئَتَيْنِ ٱلْتَقَتَا ۖ فِئَةٌۭ تُقَٰتِلُ فِى سَبِيلِ ٱللَّهِ وَأُخْرَىٰ كَافِرَةٌۭ يَرَوْنَهُم مِّثْلَيْهِمْ رَأْىَ ٱلْعَيْنِ ۚ وَٱللَّهُ يُؤَيِّدُ بِنَصْرِهِۦ مَن يَشَآءُ ۗ إِنَّ فِى ذَٰلِكَ لَعِبْرَةًۭ لِّأُو۟لِى ٱلْأَبْصَٰرِ
How to read it
Qad' kāna lakum' 'āyatun fī fi'atay'ni l-taqatā . fi'atun tuqātilu fī sabīli -llahi wa'ukh'rā kāfiratun yaraw'nahum mmith'lay'him' ra''ya l-ʻay'ni . wa-llahu yu'ayyidu binaṣ'rihī man yashā'u . 'inna fī dhālika laʻib'ratan lli'ūlī l-'ab'ṣāri
"There has already been for you a Sign in the two armies that met (in combat): One was fighting in the cause of Allah, the other resisting Allah; these saw with their own eyes Twice their number. But Allah doth support with His aid whom He pleaseth. In this is a warning for such as have eyes to see."
