Ask: "What can we learn from Pharaoh's story?"

Listen together as Mishary Alafasy recites ayat 11–20 of Ali 'Imran, a short clip shared by Holy Qur'an-القرآن الكريم.

Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "Whose people are mentioned?"

Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "Why do people keep repeating the same mistakes?" Younger children can draw theirs.

Find it in the mushaf: Surah Ali 'Imran is surah 3. Find ayah 11. Pharaoh saw many signs but refused. History repeats when people ignore lessons. This ayah mentions, in one calm line, that Allah held them to account.

Fact: Pharaoh's story is told more often in the Qur'an than any other ruler's.

Ages 5–8: Lesson learned. Talk about learning from someone else's mistake.

Ages 9–12: History lessons. Write one lesson from Pharaoh's story.

Finish with: "Pharaoh denied the ___."
